Hanoi City has a total surface area of 3,328.9 square kilometers. It is the capital city of Vietnam and is known for centuries old architecture. The city is situated in northern Vietnam on the western bank of the Red River.

In the 2nd quarter of 2017, Hanoi’s GDP growth was 7.37% y-o-y and GDP per capita was recorded at USD $3,425. In that same year, Hanoi attracted USD $1.4 billion FDI in the first six months of 2017, mostly from Japanese and Korean investors.

Aside from being Vietnam’s capital city, Hanoi is also a province level municipality administered by the central government. Hanoi is home to 100 years old temples. The city is mostly known for its famous Old Quarter with 36 streets offering enormous amounts and diversity of products.
